ABOUT MERIDIAN PSYCHOLOGICAL

Dr. Amanda Turlington, Psy.D., and Meridian Psychological are dedicated to serving a variety of psychological needs. While general psychological products are offered to an array of clients, Meridian Psychological specializes in forensic services.

Varied in definition, Forensic Psychology includes the professional practice by a licensed psychologist working within a sub-discipline of psychology (i.e., clinical, developmental, social) when applying the scientific, technical, and/or specialized knowledge of psychology to the law in an effort to address legal and/or administrative matters.

Additional services delivered by Dr. Amanda Turlington include serving as an Expert Witness, promoting evidence based practice, public policy, and community education. Offering effective assessment, treatment, and management of individuals who may have interacted with the law, services are also delivered to those who seek to better themselves and/or their life circumstances.

Meridian Psychological, LLC, strives to enhance the safety of those residing in our unique communities, reduce recidivism, protect victims and vulnerable populations, define treatment needs of those who have sought, or been referred, for psychological services. Specific to individuals who have been accused of a crimes or engaged in problematic behaviors, Meridian Psychological, LLC, strives to illuminate paths to reduce impairment in their lives.
